Narrows Park
In 2006 , three volunteers helped Pierce County Parks by closing the gate at Narrows Park each day and opening it on weekends and holidays. This also brought in some badly needed revenue for EnviroCorps.
We thank Ed Poppleton, James Hairston and Vernon Young for helping out on this project.
Narrows Park is a good place to watch the construction of the new Narrows Bridge, walk the beach or fish for salmon when they are around. For more information go to the PenMet web site.
