On Saturday May 22, 2004 a work party of 38 scout leaders from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Young Mens Program worked on the O to Q to P trail loop at McCormick Forest Park. Their help is much appreciated. Below are some photos of their good work.

This section of the trail is located on a side hill. These young men used mattocks to level the path.

Hikers will now have a more level path to walk on. Thank you

Humps and lumpy ground was leveled. Thank you all.

Most of the O to Q leg of the trail was widened to outstretched arm length. There is still work to be done such as removing all debris from the path, digging up roots and leveling the path. We are a lot closer to that outcome with the help of these young men. Thank you.

We also thank the adults who organized or helped supervise these fine young men.
